About us

Our goal is to contribute to the autonomy of the indigenous peoples in the region by advancing their rights, with a strong focus on the fight against environmental racism and the defense of their collective land and natural assets

To be a reliable and recognized organization, close to the communities we serve; a sustainable, consolidated, specialized and autonomous organization that promotes self-determination of indigenous people’s rights; interconnected to the national and international context and driving policy decisions.

Our organization denounces racism in Mexico as the root of the systematic violation of indigenous
people’s rights. With this approach, we work to strengthen indigenous autonomies through shared
learning, class action, community de-construction of the law, and action-research, with a priority
emphasis on women and youth.
